INDUCED DRAFT CROSS FLOW COOLING TOWER

THR series is a low noise, open circuit induced draft cross flow cooling tower with compact footprint and easy access to the internal parts of the cooling tower for maintenance. The conpact modular design saves space, offers lighter weight, and lower operation cost, It is suitable for equipment cooling, industrial procress cooling and air conditioning applications. The THR series is designed in accordance to CTI & JCI standards, with quaranteed thermal performance.

SINGLE UNIT INSTALLATION

For all types of cooling tower, it is recommended to install at an open space to ensure there is fresh air intake into cooling tower and hot air is discharged away from the cooling tower. However , under some circumstances when it is not possible, the recommended layout guidelines below must be followed to ensure cooling tower performance and satisfaction.

Figure 1.1 and 1.2 illustrates incorrect installation , causing the hot exhaust air to enter back into the cooling tower which affects the cooling efficiency.This can be corrected by increasing the structural plinth height so that the top of the cooling tower is higher than the wall as show in Fiqure 2.
